I thought fan turnout was impressive. Great job to the many that made the trip.

Totally agree. Win or lose it is great to see that strong of a fan following.

That's a good sign of progress for the fan base.

Mustangs showed great. More than anyone but Kansas in Tulsa. Kansas has a 30 year head start on us in quality.

Agree. I also maintain that a good # of those fans were the casual fans we always aspire to engage (see football homecoming, for example). Getting them there = one step forward. Kicked in the nads yet again = two steps back.

The only bright side i can think of is that Semi is probably not going pro.

Yeah if Semi and Shake are back next year I will be able to see the bright side. Wow it hurts though. Semi was very good today.

Not as sure as you are on that. Our crowd was phenomenal. I'm just afraid how many people won't show up the next time...this is 2 absolutely gut wrenching tournament losses.

My first thought after the loss was that Semi is gone. Might be just my built in SMU pessimism, but my initial thought was how do we re-load without Ben, Sterling and Semi. Couple of wins would have done wonders for recruiting and given me more hope for the future.

We will have a deeper roster next year but full of FR so expectations will have to be tempered

If Semi is leaving then why did we sit him last year?
