Recruits have been taken to strip clubs during their official visit, both here and elsewhere, for decades, and I speak from personal experience. The only surprising thing in Louisville's case was bringing the girls back to the dormitory for loud parties. Most people have the sense to keep it a little more quiet and out of sight. It happens all over, Louisville was just more blatant. The only one who didnt know something was going on was Pitino.
