Men's Lacrosse going back to National Tournament

Lax won the conference and will be going back to the National Tournament in California. The tournament begins next week. This is the second consecutive time they have gone to the 16 team tournament.

Anybody been out to the new facility to watch a game? I walked by the other day and was impressed. Looks like a great venue. Lacrosse is getting to be huge at certain schools and we should be advertising at every local venue from pee week through varsity high school.

To my wife's continuing dismay, pee week is every week in my back yard.

The team ended the season on a five game win streak including avenging regular season losses to Texas and OU in the conference tournament. SMU is a 13 seed in the National Tournament and will have a rematch against Georgia Tech where they will look to avenge a 14-9 regular season loss.

Opening game of the tournament is a tough draw. They have #3 Georgia Tech on Monday at 4:30 (pacific time).

The games were streamed last year. I haven't seen if they will be again this year.

Lost 11-14. Put up a hell of a fight.

Spent the next day in a combined scrimmage and gear exchange with FSU and Colorado State.
