Georgetown grad transfer Akoy Agau will visit SMU this weekend, per a source. Illinois, Maryland, and Northwestern are also in the mix. All the schools are pretty stacked at Forward.

Info from another thread when his name first came up a couple of weeks ago:

4.5 ppg 4.3 ppg at Georgetown in 15 minutes per game. Translates to a pretty good rebounder with more minutes. EXTREMELY good free throw shooter (85%) which seems odd based on his lack of offensive basketball numbers-in fact 57 of his 144 points came from Free Throw Line. You'd think a kid that could hit FTs could score from the field-maybe he's still a developing project. Relatively high blocks per game with .9 blocks per game which projects significantly better than Ben Moore's 1.2 per games in 17 more minutes per game. Already following UCF and Tampa coaches. He could be that rebounder, rim protector, defender who would fit and complement our strong offensive lineup. Can run the floor well. Athletically kind of reminds me of a smaller Yanick Moreira

I watched some of Agau's highlights last night, HS and at Georgetown. He is everything we are currently lacking - a long, tall defender, good shot blocker and surprisingly has a nice shot for someone his size. I'm surprised he didn't get more minutes at Georgetown.

Akoy is on an official visit to Old Dominion. This seems strange, I can understand if this was VCU but I hope we don't lose a recruiting battle to Old Dominion University.
