Dimarya Mixon tweeted that he's transferring to SMU. Was a junior at Tennessee. From Mesquite so makes sense.

Non Qualifier out of High School and sent home from bowl game.... There are some questions I would like tool ask.

I am not a super nerd but what is this guys core GPA at UTenn? Or, is this a one year player (that we NEED)?
And after a year working - Hopefully he saw the use in studies.

First part is I'm curious.
Second part I'm ok with also.

Okay. So we lose a QB and pick up a kicker/punter, and we lose a RB and pick up two DL and a LB. good stuff - HCCM is a helluva horse trader.

So does this potentially mean that we are in good shape on the DL this year?

I'm not sure if Mixon will make much of an impact but you can never have too many DL transfers from the SEC IMHO, so I'm happy we got him. Moore, however, is HUGE (not until next year though unfortunately).

But I'm assuming it is going to be him and Lawler starting up front, if he's worth his salt. With the addition of the JUCO DT we should be capable and relatively deep on the DL if not very good.
