Q tonight

Postby LA_Mustang » Fri Jan 20, 2006 5:10 pm

Looking forward to seeing Q and the Clip play the Mavs tonight. Q has been back in the starting lineup the past few games.

Growing up in LA, I always rooted for the Clips (when they weren't playing my beloved Rockets) because everybody bandwagoned on the Lakers when they were good and then wouldn't speak their name when they sucked...anyways since he can't do well on my Rockets I'm glad he's doing it with the Clips.

No crap SmooPower, I decided to invest in the NBA package this year since I was expecting a return the glory days of the mid-90's. To say the least I want a F-ing refund. It's torture but I still watch every humiliating loss...err game.

Impressive win by the Mavericks this evening...they have played extremely well all year, and especially since Eric Dampier was demoted to a reserve role. I think this will end up being a permanent switch...Desagana Diop is just having much more success versus other teams' starting centers. Meanwhile, Dampier is also have much more success against other team's reserves and he suddenly is a more offensive player versus the other reserve centers around the league.

On another note, Quinton Ross did play 27 minutes, starting in place of the injured Correy Maggette, however he had just a subpar game scoring 4 points on two of three shooting, adding 2 blocks, 3 assists, and one rebound.
I miss Troy Matthews.

From the bit I watched it looked liek Q was playing with Sasser and Hancock again, I don't know that Q touched the ball in the first 7 minutes of the game. But Cassell and the other guard were shooting it plenty and prettry poorly.

Saw The Q play Denver last night and he was by far the best player on the floor.

He could be an All-Star in a couple of seasons if he keeps developing in the NBA at his current pace.
