Got to meet Ramon at the SB game this year....seems like a great guy and glad HCCM has found a way to get him on staff.

ramon was one of my all-time favorite smu players so i'm excited to have him back.

With all these top 5 lists floating around, if the DMN published one for "class acts", Ramon would be in Top 3

This was "my era" and he was about the only thing exciting about SMU football back then. Rossley ran the run n shoot (back when it was still a 'thing') and Flanigan was explosive. Fans actually came and we played teams people cared about. I vividly remember playing Arky in the Cotton Bowl. He and Brian Berry were fun to watch especially. Would have been incredible to have seen him play with the pony express (different systems I know, but could you imagine a defense trying to defend ED and Ramon in an option?!?) :-)
