Kinda bummed we get the worst team in the field first. I guess the bright side is if we win, our next two games will be on the "winners bracket side" so will probably get two games against Nova, Arizona, Purdue, Tennessee other team that one their first game.

Looks good to me. Gets us into the winners side of the tourney and should play Arizona on Thanksgiving Day.

Game against UNI is critical - win and we get to play two top 25 teams (possibly two top 10). Lose and very good chance we don't play ANY top 25 teams. As strange as it is, I think I would rather go 1-2 with the losses to AZ and Purdue than 2-1 with the wins against W. KY and Tenn. Obviously beating someone like Nova or Purdue on a neutral court would be a huge boost come March.

Exactly the sort of OOC we should be looking for and playing. Murdering Southeast Western Bumphuck on a regular basis wasn't cutting it.

Okay I know what happens when you assume but what the hell. Let's say we beat N Iowa and Arizona avoids a loss before Atlantis. When was the last time we played the #1 team in the nation? Total guess but Arkansas under Nolan Richardson back in the SWC days?

Arizona plays three games before Atlantis, all at home vs. Northern Arizona, UMBC and Cal St Bakersfield. So, it is highly likely they will come to the tourney 3-0 and ranked #1.

The more I think about it the more I love our draw. As long as we take care of business against UNI, our resume will be stout

So this Travel Group will be drunker than dog [deleted] by 9:30 pm off the beach for our first game. I'm going to set an example and not have anything to drink that day.
