Season Tickets

Post by PonyPlayer4 »

Now more than ever we need everyone on here to make the extra effort to invite friends to the games this year. Challenge your friends to buy season tickets that normally wouldn't, or that are on the fringe. Because we don't have that marquee non conference big game game, season tickets sales are down about 1,000 to last year.

This is a bowl team, no doubt about it. We have an All-American on campus. Good things are happening! We just need people and fans to come see it.

Only team in the country who's season ticket sales are driven by non-conference scheduling instead of the quality and excitement of the actual team.

We are far from the only team whose season ticket sales are impacted by the schedule. That îs a ridiculously wrong statement

Don't bother supporting this with any evidence. Everything you post comes from God's mouth.

I appreciate the sentiment, but we all know this year's home schedule is the worst in Ford history. Up to the team to generate some excitement and get people inside.

What were season ticket sales last year? Down 1K doesn't seem too bad when TCU, Houston and Navy were all on the schedule.

It's got to be the worst in SMU history.

You and I care about opponents. Most of Dallas only cares about wins and loses. That's why its not such a bad schedule. Dallas will notice if we are 5-1, and they don't really care who we beat.

Hey we tried the other way. Winless starting October 1 doesn't help anything.

Tried that back in 2011 but the stands looked like Dallas didn't notice our good start (which included a win over TCU).

Ridiculous, just ridiculous, haha...........truth hurts ladies.

What's more embarrassing..........begging Texas P5 teams to bring their fans to avoid the embarrassment of a half empty stadium on TV, or looking around and realizing the visiting team fans outnumber the home team fans 2 to 1?

Probably no shame at all for 'ridiculous' whiners like ECM
