Opening day of Ford. First ever Boulevard. The KU snap over the punter's head. The three hour heat delay. Christening the student bathroom, not in a fun way.

The best opening in Ford was the time we tried to burn our own stadium down. Kinda sad when a Kleptomaniac moment is the season highlight. Hopefully those days are long behind us.

We stole our own stadium by burning grass?

my sophomore year TCU game 2011 in overtime my fraternity brother and I ran onto their field after the failed fourth down conversion to end it, an SMU student next to me got truck sticked by security. My parents sent me a screenshot from their television screen of me slapping June Jones on the back congratulating him (back when I liked June). I took a picture in front of the 40-33 scoreboard and it is in my office now.

1990 opener versus SEC juggernaut Vandy, we beat them badly, 44-7...Mike Romo looked like the second coming of Dandy Don. "We're BACK!!" I declared. Think we lost our next 10-12 games. THAT, however, was a good night. PonyUP!

Great game to start the season and then it came crashing down with a 7-43 loss to Tulane down in New Orleans. Fortunately for the SMU fans in attendance, alcohol was available during the game.

We fumbled the ball away on the first possession and then scored on every other possession. I felt like we were back. At season's end a 1-10 record proved me wrong.
