RE: Attendance - We should host Houston Evacuees for free at the game. Just distribute tickets to all of the people staying in the various hotels around campus - they are full of Houston-ites with nothing to do...

Any students on here who can give us a gauge on how engaged the student body is? Is there a mob type feel with at least some? I'm hoping we can get a big student turnout given first game back and all.

A solid win Saturday 'should' bring 25K butts in seats to UNT (partly due to 6K greenies).

Am student, the hype for the MOB is real this year, which will translate into attendance for other sports, Mustang 11 got a pretty large group, attendance in the student section should be larger this year, but that all depends on how drunk people get. Any students that follow the team are excited. I would expect a small uptick in student attendance but not much

Yes. Same policies as last year with more enforcement by IFC organizations.

Plus they would have interest since they are from an American city. Good idea!

While they might buy some food, soft drinks, or beer, do not believe that tickets given away count for attendance.......although it would be a nice gesture.
