SMU got beat by a TCU Team that they cant compete with yet, Talent wise. All Coaches wish they had a play back to redo, Im sure Chad would handle the Hail Mary different if he had it to do over. But lets don't panic. There is a very good chance this Team is 4-1 at the end of September! Then we can see how much growth this Team has made when they play Houston.

No easy game, but we had better take care of business against Arky St. and UConn if we want to go bowling this year and have a chance at 7 wins, which I believe indicates a good season vs. a fair season at 6 wins.

I started this Post & I really believe SMU will be 4-1 at the end of September! No one would have expected 5-0. TCU would have been a major upset! But at 4-1,you really don't know what you have because of the Teams played. Allow Chad to stay the Course, he knows what he is doing. I know Chad and he probably had a very strong conversation with Malone about the Hail Mary! He is also probably real upset with himself for not inserting Sutton! But cant dwell on it, got to move forward! I don't understand this SMU Board, when he looses to a very good TCU Team people are quick to trash the Coaches. Let him win a couple & everyone talks about him leaving!

Don't worry about it. This board is a microcosm of the real world.

About 1/3 here actually care and are fans.

About 1/3 here are are just here so they don't get fined.

About 1/3 here care about how much they can ensure others know they care...about not caring.

And a small number just want to watch the world burn, because they realize there is nothing they've ever accomplished that amounts to much of anything, and they secretly yearn to be allowed to engage like they belong. Those ones are the obvious ones, as their lives of inadequacy are defined by attempting to overcome their grand faults by pointing out minor mistakes of others.

Team is still trending up. Stock will skyrocket soon. Time to get on board.

Don’t forget, offense against TCU was a joke because their defense actually stinks and their offense wasn’t good and would be stymied by OSU. ARK St was going to overpower us and there’s no way we open 3-1.
