totally agree...the last two games we virtually should have won. the utep game was tough but not unwinnable, this tulane game really shocked me when we were down by 14 or so, disgusting. i dunno what to expect from this team the next three years im here. im hopin for ncaa tourney birth while im here, but i dont think its gunna happen with other consistent teams like memphis or uab

Maybe Tubbs should not get all of the blame, or even most of it, yet. The problem with the basketball program is it has made absolutely no progress under Copeland. He is the AD. He is ultimately responsible for what goes on with SMU athletics. SMU has talked about upgrading Moody and adding practice courts for years now with no action. A good AD gets the funding done. SMU has plenty of rich alums to get the money from. Get creative in your fund raising. Make the issue well known and have fund raisers specifically for this project. Get the students involved somehow. Do something. Copeland has shown no leadership and has to go for this program to reach the next level.

I can't exactly blame Copeland for out basketball teams inability to win their last two games, but I agree completely with your assesment of his leadership and performance. It is time for a younger man with energy and the ability to be creative to take over that job. The man needs to make good on his threat and retire.
