is going to be huge for SMU. They have to play at USF next week while we get to regroup after the Houston loss. Really need this road win if this team hopes to gain momentum for the 2nd half and eventually win 6 or more games.

Before the season began, I penciled this one in as a loss but after seeing how Tulane manhandled Tulsa yesterday, my thinking has changed (not sure we can beat Tulane) and I'm going to call the SMU upset on 10/21 at Cincy

Best way to be a happy SMU football fan--don't watch the game. CHeck the score the next day. This works for me. Keeps my blood pressure down.

Tulsa's backup QB played well after Chad President was finally benched. I'd expect Tulsa to make that change permanent-which will probably make them much better. Tulsa's Passing game has fallen off a cliff because they chose an Athlete rather than a QB to play the position

Tulsa will start peaking right when we play them LOL, our luck. I had us beating Tulsa, Cincy, and Tulane to get to 7 wins. Not so sure now, but I HATE that Memphis and Navy have stomped us so much so quickly. I remember very recently when Memphis was a close to sure win. It's crazy how quickly that program rebounded and how we haven't.

Tulsa is still going to be an easy game. Luke Skipper did well as the QB backup but the Tulsa D is depleted with injuries and the Skipper was sacked three times.

Must win at Cinci. Keep those P5-wannabes down.

The game is on at a good time and on a decent channel. I would imagine plenty of exposure so I hope our guys are ready. It would be a huge let down to lose to Cincy. Outside of Tulsa for now, this our really only winnable game. If we can clinch both games then that sets us well with Tulane (never thought I would say this) to hopefully improve on the season as 7-5. I hate penciling losses as it only reminds me of JJ, but hard not to do that given our performance with Houston. Our only hope with UCF is it's at home, and hopefully we can catch them off guard like we did to Houston last year.
