Trey Quinn Appreciation Thread
He has simply been AMAZING. I talked to his parents at the end of the SFA game, and they were thrilled he chose SMU and that and Coach Morris kept in touch to land here.
His high school stats are well-known from Lousy-Anna, and legendary, but a few less known fun facts from the smu site:
Parents are Angie and Dave Quinn... Threw a no-hitter in the opening round of the 2008 Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa.... Helped his South Lake Charles Little League team to the U.S. title game before falling to Hawaii... Starting pitcher in U.S. title game vs. Hawaii, allowing only one run and four hits in 5.0 innings... Grandfather is Bobby Keasler, who served as head football coach at McNeese State (1990-98) and Louisiana-Monroe (1999-2002)... Keasler led McNeese State to championship game of the 1-AA playoffs in 1995.

Re: Trey Quinn Appreciation Thread
while he could have a long illustrious NFL career for sure, i hope he follows through on this "wants to fight in the UFC" thing the broadcasters keep talking about.

He'd probably be a good fighter but I doubt he has prior experience.

ThatΓÇÖs his post-football plan. Guy is nuts...in a great way. I was 10 yards from that catch. He was covered harder than a book; hicks was running full speed out of bounds the other way. Simply amazing by both of them.
Re: Trey Quinn Appreciation Thread
We are going to possibly lose a WR to the first round of the NFL draft and he may not even be the best player on the field. Dude is a total player - he is going to half to turn down the chance to play in the NFL before he decides to go become an MMA fighter.

We've got a two headed beast. Wouldn't trade Sutton and Quinn for anyone. And what about Proche? We need to get the ball to him as well.

The comments in the nola.com article accurately reflect the idiocy of many (not all) LSU fans. Glad that TQ is wearing red and blue, and I bet he does too.

Yeah I had forgotten John Diarse who is one of TCU's best WRs also transferred from LSU. Another guy listed too
