Re: Tulsa Roll Call!
I’m going to be slightly favorable about fan attendance than Friday expectations. I think we will have 18k there and maybe 13k by 4th qtr.

Re: Tulsa Roll Call!
Official Attendance for clinching our first bowl in 24 years was 21,697 although the video suggests that was inflated by about 7,000 or so
Game Thread for finally breaking through to bowl eligibility-for Taylor Thompson's sack go to Page 27 to relive some good times
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=42152&hilit=SMU+UTEP+2009&start=390
Funny Notes:
SMU's Defense had given up 618 yards total offense at about the time of the clinching sack by Taylor Thompson-Big Games are won by Big Plays in crunch time
Someone in First Half said SMU was 29% on the year on 3rd Downs plus 1 for 6 in UTEP game despite having 3 NFL WRs (Beasley, Sanders, and Robinson), an NFL RB in Line at FB and superstar transfer Shawnbrey McNiel at RB. OUCH (This year we are 46.3% on 3rd Down (19th in Country) and 75% on 4th Down (10th in Country)-maybe QB play ain't so bad-those are great stats)

Last UTEP play is probably my favorite post DP moment. Great atmosphere. That is why anyone who can should be there Friday in hopes of clinching a bowl again.

Taylor Thompson's relentless pursuit of UTEP QB is one of the top post death penalty moments, for sure. Watched on TV and was wishing I could have been there for that one. Of course, the follow up Hawaii Bowl and sacks of Kapernick were even better

I was there. The loudest I’ve ever heard that stadium, before or since.

I was at the opening game vs Kansas and thought the place was pretty loud when we had that 2nd half goal line stand...it helped that we had a full house that night
