Our linebackers are awful, though. Speed is really exposed on the QB scrambles
We changed the defense to play tight man and take away the easy passes, but got burned deep early because we couldn't get a pass rush. Later in the game, the pass rush helped.
It seems like we have a choice at LB of playing guys who can't run or guys who can't tackle.
Rhone can’t run fast enough to miss tackles. Even if the other players make mental mistakes, they might make a play from time to time.
I tend to agree with you. I kind of would like to see McQueen at Star and Mitchell at Will and see what happens. There must be a reason we haven't tried it, thought. Spears and McNew must really be struggling to not get a shot at MLB.
The above pretty well sum it up for me. I'm hoping for GTs or frosh who can play immediately although the later seems unlikely.

I didn’t realize you can call a TD back for that. Figured it was just enforced on kickoff. Terrible rule IMO

I think it was put in 2 years ago. Bad rule but still a rule and it was one of the few correct calls the officials made all night.

That was an official who was anxious to implement that new rule. Sure glad it wasn't one of ours getting called back.

I thought it was longer than that but definitely a correct call based on what that idiot did. I couldn't believe Tulsa left him in the game for the rest of that series.

I agree with you about McNew & Spears. They must be doing horrible in practice.

I don't know about practice but McNew has been plenty bad in games
