SMU wins of course (a requirement for any great weekend) TCU - L Rape U - L Pedo U - L Aggie - L (yes I know about the chad thing, but I just don't like cults, ie. See rape U above). Stanford W (I just like them - no idea why) Michigan state (at hands of a private school) - L Memphis and UCF win, peaking just in time for us to sneak up on them.
Enjoy your day ponies, it was a fully successful Saturday.

I agree with everything except A&M losing and Baylor. I’ll take a whoren loss any day! Sadly they had a bye week.

Hard to beat week one.... we had a blowout win, UT loss to Maryland, A&M to UCLA in heartbreak fashion, and Baylor to Liberty...

Was pretty good for me, for sure. Teams I pull for all won and games I was interested in generally went the way I wanted them to. Have to admit that I wanted TCU to beat Iowa State as I generally pull for all of our opponents to do well before and after we play them. UNT, SFA & Arky State all won. I was O.K. with Houston's win and that was a great finish in that game. Don't like Ohio State but was pulling for them to knock off Penn State. Clemson back on track with their win and I like SC in the SEC so was happy to see Muschamp's team get their 6th win already. Would love to play them in a bowl game someday. Have to also admit I was pulling for A$M because I don't want them to sour on Sumlin and come after Chad yet. Also wanted Duke to fare better than they did at Va Tech in that nor'easter. That one reminded me of our game at Navy in JJ's 1st season. Lived in OKC in the early 90's and neighbor friends were all Okie State people, so I was glad to see them win at W. Virginia which is always a good road win. All in all, yes...it was a good day of college football.

If is TCU vs Lucifer U I would be torn. Perhaps I need to adjust my priorities.

Notre Dame won so tap the breaks on greatest weekend ever. At least Penn St. lost
