I am good with the Hawaii Bowl. The players deserve it! Sadly, our fans do not.

Which ones worst: playing this against NTCC or being in the worst bowl Hawaii... golly I really hope we get a better match up. PAC 12 teams in Frisco, super lame.

EASILY I'd rather play a MWC team in Hawaii. Tropicana Stadium is the WORST Bowl out there next to the Bahamas Bowl. I can hardly watch that bowl in a Baseball Stadium with permanently molded turf. Its an eyesore. People actually watch the Hawaii Bowl

Oh it looks like they finally changed the turf

I’m ready to win another one of these:

I’m hoping for Frisco. We would bring a good crowd, there isn’t a bad seat in the house, and I will be at the game anyway.

My guess is that the players would prefer Hawaii to Frisco and after all, they are the ones who will have earned the invite

just remember:
1. The AAC pays travel expenses
2. The AAC picks Bowl teams without rigid regard to rank
3. SMU is the cheapest team to send to Hawaii
4. Most AAC Bowls are in the East

Now I guess they could save enough on travel expenses by sending SMU to Frisco but otherwise I think this is why so many projections have us in Hawaii-maybe a top runner-up will be given Hawaii Bowl for a reward since again schools don't pay these expenses

I understand why some are down on Hawaii Bowl because harder to get to, but I really like it. Xmas eve, which will be only game on and great for players. It's not like we have tens of thousands who will travel (I know we showed well in Birmingham but still) anyway.

We have showed well for the two bowls people could travel to.
It would be disappointing if we got sent to Hawaii again.

Hopefully coogs get bowl eligible and they can get sent to football Siberia (aka Hawaii bowl). I agree with much reluctance I would take Hawaii over a match up with NTCC. I don’t watch tv on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Thankfully we have the ability for replay. Plus don’t want to give Hawaii bowl any ratings. Hopefully they will go bankrupt.

Hawaii btw is only 3-5 so they aren't likely in their own bowl
