Is Fatterson blaming refs for TCU loss to Iowa State?"TCU coach Gary Patterson, whose team matched a season high with 11 penalties in Saturday’s 14-7 loss at Iowa State, said he is going to watch the game film before he registers comment with the Big 12 office. The calls, including five holding penalties, were clearly on his mind after the game. “One of the things I’m going to be concerned about is some of the calls,” he said in his postgame press conference at Jack Trice Stadium. “I’m going to watch them before I make that call to the office.”

Re: Is Fatterson blaming refs for TCU loss to Iowa State?Penalties did probably cost them the game. A few he’s complaining about were legit, but there were some really bad ones and all on big plays

At the same time. For the same person.
Re: Is Fatterson blaming refs for TCU loss to Iowa State?Maybe he wished the referees had called back an Iowa State touchdown because the player was "taunting" as he ran into end zone?

I'm sure he did wish that. Or that his QB was not a head case.
Re: Is Fatterson blaming refs for TCU loss to Iowa State?I am fully aware that as a result of him being the TCU coach that it is hard for me to be objective, but w/ that self-awareness in mind I have tried to give my best and most fair analysis of the guy. That being said, I find him to be possibly the single most unlikable football coach I have seen in my life as a fan. Everything about him is unappealing as a human being. He literally seems to have one single redeeming quality and that is being good a coaching football. Full stop.
