Ha! At the exact moment I was posting the above personal marketing invitation-Chad morris called me-the Stallion-personally on the phone with the exact message I posted here. Darn I missed the call while posting. Maybe he'll call each and every SMU fan so you'll know you'll be in a safe place on Saturday night.

yeah but I never actually answer it. I'm afraid if I get rid of it SMU's marketing plan will never reach me and I won't know if I'm valued, wanted and loved enough by my alma mater to attend SMU athletic events

SMU is making a valiant last minute effort to reach out to potential ticket buyers, push deals etc. I applaud whole-heartedly (but this should be the norm).

I tried to cancel my land line and was informed if I did my overall bill would increase due to my bundle. So I kept it and they lowered my total bill the equivalent amount of it being cancelled. I do not answer it anymore.

They also had Art Bryles from 2008 to 2015. During that time they won two B12 championships and had a Heisman. Are you really comparing us to Baylor Football?

At least Bryles chose to stay after RG3. If Chad Morris stays that long, we will have success as well. As of right now, Chad is just another football mercenary. TCU and Baylor had stability, and had coaches that wanted to build. I'm not saying that Chad is horrible for wanting to go up a level. I wish SMU football produced more football coaches. We will likely need an alum or someone with SMU roots that wants to build the program up, and doesn't see it as a stepping stone

I was only saying they have a terrible record this year, plus all the
scandals, and the fans still come out, simple as that.

That said, he put more SMU guys in the NFL than we've had in the last 30 years and the four unquestionable NFL'ers on the current roster were all June recruits (Courtland Sutton, Evan Brown, Justin Lawler, Jordan Wyatt).

I agree he burned it to the ground, but from 2008 to 2012--he was good and played P5s out of conference.

What was his record against P5's out of conference? There was a win against WSU which was one of the worst P5 programs at the time (and and blowing a 3rd quarter 24-7 lead to lose it OT the year before) and Pitt in the bowl game (with their depleted coaching staff).
