If this is a blow out it will really hurt Chad's chances for a mid level P5. High level P5's - FLA or Tennessee - are hunting bigger game. Mid level P5 - Arkansas , Nebraska - will pause before they hire a guy who is 7-5, got blown out by #23 Memphis and didn't beat any top 50 teams.

Keep it respectable at Memphis and beat Tulane and I think he is calling the hogs in December.

Chad doesn't leave SMU for a low P5.

Looks like rain for the game....Memphis has already played in some pretty bad weather this year so they've got the wet weather advantage but, home crowd will be smaller and muted. In a complete turnaround, SMU plays tough in the first half, taking a 28-17 lead into the break only to come out flat in the second half and lose 52- 35. I will be there getting soaked and, hopefully, we are all completely wrong and we pull this one out!
