Re: Arizona
I watched the game yesterday. If it is possible to look awesome while losing...they did.
That big frosh will eat Chargois alive. Ristic had foul trouble. Trier didn’t wake up until halftime. But when he was on....look out.
NC STATE, especially their Baylor transfer, played out of their faces.

What happened to Chargois last night? I only saw him get 2 fouls but apparently he had more or there was another issue.

Re: Arizona
Not a good matchup for us. And AZ isn't going to play poor d two games in a row

My guess is that Jank thought Ray’s quickness and rebounding was more helpful than Chargois’..... ummmm....nothing.mrydel wrote:What happened to Chargois last night? I only saw him get 2 fouls but apparently he had more or there was another issue.

It’s going to be a long night for the Ponies. One of a few long nights (including last night) that I think we can expect to see in OOC while playing four freshmen.

Re: Arizona
Let’s pull out a silver lining. Arizona is favored over us by the same line as we were over UNI. So in the minds of the oddsmakers I would say we have as good of a chance to win as did UNI. And if (definitely a BIG if) we were to beat Arizona it would be better for our resume than if we were to beat NC State. I apologize if that is too positive for this board.

ESPN is showing us favored by 7.5 points. Something is wrong with my app.

Re: Arizona
Since you have the if qualifier in there then it’s not too positive at all. Just looking at the possible outcomes.
Also looking forward to seeing two players go at each other that will be in the NBA next year in Trier and Shake.
