WTF is going on here, people? Southern Miss took their chairs OUT ON TO THE COURT tonight during timeouts and gave water to their players ON THE COURT which then spilled out ON TO THE COURT! It's the reason that Rackauskas slipped and almost suffered an injury tonight.
IT'S TIME TO RAISE HELL ABOUT THIS LACK OF RESPECT FOR THE MUSTANGS AND ITS FANS IN MOODY COLISEUM, FOLKS! I AM GETTING SICK AND TIRED OF SEEING OPPOSING TEAMS COME TO MOODY AND TREAT OUR FACILITIES LIKE THIS! AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT'S PISSED OFF ABOUT THIS?
At the Rice game, the Owls took their chairs out a few feet on to the court from the sidelines. But tonight...the Golden Eagles took their chairs and water bottles out to THE PAINT! RIDICULOUS!
And, once again, SMU just let's it happen. Do you think UT, A&M or TT allow opposing teams to treat their courts like that? You know the answer.

Visiting teams do that at virtually every arena in the country. You're getting worked up over something that never will change.

Its the thing to do these days. Granted, its not necessary at SMU since there are no hostile and noisy fans behind their bench, but in many arenas that is not the case and it has become the habit for many teams.
If you notice, it has even evolved into "special chairs" they bring themselves to fold out , they don't just drag the ones from the bench on the court anymore.
I personally don't see a problem with it, the visiting team is just trying to get away from the crowd so they can hear the coach without being heckled, its not an attempt to disrespect anyone.
Of course, if someone gets hurt by spilled water not being cleaned up, then I could see an NCAA rule being proposed to keep teams in the bench area, but I doubt anyone really sees that as a concern and the majority of NCAA coaches would not want to lose that option.
We need to worry about who is going to score for us next year, not about who is dragging chairs on the court.

Didn't we already have this conversation recently?
It's a crappy job but someone's gotta do it.

this is not unique. Jud Heathcote had Michigan State doing that in Big Ten arenas back in the early 80s.

'The thing to do these days'. And just how the hell did this happen?
'No hostile and noisy fans behind their bench'. Ain't that the truth! I pray for the day that SMU has fans/student body at games like Duke or UT or UNC...
It's all about R-E-S-P-E-C-T!

This is standard operating procedure for many teams on the road and has nothing to do with not "respecting" the home team. Get over it.

You should consider increasing the dosage on your medication. Seriously.
Try not to choke on the Kool-Aid.
