Nominations for Classic Ending
every Classic ending needs a name so it goes down in Football History lore. Ex. The Miracle on 4th Street (SMU v Tech 1982), the Hail Mary.
We need to give this one a name-I suggest:
THE MIRACLE ON THE HALF-INCH LINE
just a great reminder that the difference between winning and losing is often as simple as just making a play when your back is against the Wall. Both SMU Offense and Defense made that play with their backs to the wall on their respective last play

Tulane got the benefit of a lot of bad calls. Grounding calls - an questionable interference. And they got it right in the end.
