I’m on the train of who cares. It’s just an appearance. Yeah we look like Texas Tech but who cares. If it helps with recruiting and team morale, let them have it.

I thought they looked good. My preference is the traditional white helmet with stripe and pony on both sides, blue jerseys, and white pants with stripes. However, changing it up to appease the players and recruits is fine by me.

Nice way to reward all of the SMU families spending part of their holiday on The Hilltop by not wearing school colors.

But I am sure the kids will be hyped so who cares, right?

We get great pub all over the net and on TV about the uniforms and people are still complaining. “Oh, I bought red and blue clothes and” shut-up! You have a bunch of home games to wear red and blue. I hear there are great tickets still available for those! The seniors asked for black and they put that info out before game-day. If you don’t own a black shirt, go buy one. But stop the whining as they do anything they can to get recruits interested and make the players happy. Crap, when we had a white-out most of y’all didn’t fix your blue hair so get over it.

I'm old and don't have blue hair. In fact, I have very little hair left on the top of my head but I thought those unis looked good. Especially good while planting the Tulane QB on the 2 inch line!

Black uni's rocked with chrome red helmet? Twitter with national feeds and recruits still raving about it on Wednesday.
