Rout from the beginning. Southern Miss hit a 3 to open the game, then SMU went on a 23-3 run over the next 10 minutes. Biggest lead was 32. Rhonda cleared the bench in the middle of the second half. Janielle Dodds had 24 points and 10 boards in just 25 minutes. Katie Gross hit 6/9 from 3-point range, for 18 points. Sarah Davis had 2 blocked shots, she's blocked at least 1 in every game this year, and continues to extend her school career record. Julie Colli and Kendall Shead each had 7 assists.

SMU is now in sole possession of 2nd place at 7-3, one game behind Tulsa (8-2). Tulsa comes to Moody this coming Sunday, and an SMU win would create a tie for first place. Southern Miss is now in 3rd place, a half game ahead of Marshall and Houston.
