Why not? The offense he built beat Nick last year for a national championship.
He was smart to stay away from Tennessee, though.

Word is that Tennessee is now targeting Jeff Brohm. That would be a solid hire.

That’s the word in the SEC, and that would be a smart hire for sure.

Herm Edwards to ASU? Well this seems interesting after everyone had Sumlin going to ASU. My son is a freshman in the honors college out there, so I follow their football and basketball programs a little more closely than the average pony fan I'm guessing. I was there for the Washington upset this year during family weekend. Sun Devil Stadium was rocking. Great atmosphere.

Herm would be a really good pick. Plus it might give us a very remote chance at getting Sumlin if hccm leaves. A real bonus would be if the aggies are having to pay part of his salary.

Not quite "Chip Kelly to UCLA" but the press conferences will be entertaining.

The Aggies have to pay Sumlin $10.6 million in 60 days regardless of any future employment. Best buyout I have ever heard of.

Now the student section at the 10RC basketball game is chanting, ΓÇ£We Want Kiffin." You can’t make this stuff up!

and the fans are going nuclear.
Re: Annual Coaching Carousel Mega-Thread
Reports that Doeren just declined. Will they circle back to Chad? Somewhat think at this point they are so far down the road they just completely cave to the fans and grab Tee or Lane.

Re: Annual Coaching Carousel Mega-Thread
is hccm so anxious to leave us that he would accept being 7-8th choice at a school like tenn.? IMO he can do a lot better.
Re: Annual Coaching Carousel Mega-Thread
Actually just saw something saying Tennessee was now talking to Sumlin. Could make sense.
