I would imagine Morris has been also. Although I think Morris could do well, I would not be surprised to see a Tennessee fan base type of uprising if he is named. After Bielema, they are adamant about someone with Arkansas background. I really thought they could sway Gus, but all of this is difficult when you do not have an AD either.

Other than Norvell, are there any candidates that have an Arkansas background?
I donΓÇÖt know how you donΓÇÖt put Norvell before Chad. HeΓÇÖs got a resume. HeΓÇÖs recruited well. I just feel like if I were an Arkansas booster and I heard chad was over Norvell, I would sue for breach of good faith.
Because things aren't always as easy as you think. Norvell was handed a Championship level program. Chad Morris was handed a program that statistically was one of the worst in the history of college football. Chad implemented the Offense that took Clemson from a losing record the year before he was hired to the National Championship and recruited much of the Offensive players who accomplished that-including the Most Valuable Player in the Country. People forget Dabo Sweeny was in serious job jeopardy until Morris got to Clemson

When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.
Right. We know that. I doubt an Arkie would know that. You are so right about the dumpster that Chad was given. Anyways, to ensure we keep Chad, I will tell those Arkies how dumb they would be to skip Norvell!
