Like I said, I didnt see the game so I dont know if he double dribbled, but Pony Fan is correct you need both feet over to establish possesion. Same reason that if the ball is passed back towards the line and a guy jumps in to the frontcourt and catches the ball in the air it is over and back because he didnt establish possesion.

Regardless of whether or not he had a pivot in the back court or not, he actually took a dribble in the front court and then took the ball back behind the line. That is a no-no, isn't it?

The worst part about the reffing last night is that there was absolutely no flow to the game what-so-ever. The crowd couldn't get into it at all, partially because the offense was so bad, but also because a whistle was blown on pretty much every single possession.

The refs were horrible. Rack absolutely murders a guy, no call, then they call a ticky-tack travel call on Dez, then they call Rack for a touch foul when the other guy posts up on the next possession.

34% shooting loses just about every game you play. Add to that 1-10 from 3 point land and you're not going to win. This sounds like the guard and 3 positions had a really ugly night from the floor. Now if they were being fouled on every shot, let me know, but if not, then they deserved to lose. If they weren't getting open, then that's good defense. If they weren't adjusting to that defense, that's Tubbs problem. If they were adjusting and nothing was working, then that's just basketball.

I completely agree that the officiating was horrible. It concerns me that there were so many calls. Neither team ever had the chance to get into a rhythm. I know I am exaggerating, but I felt as though there was a whistle on almost every posession. It is not fun to watch a game like that. The refs frankly took both teams out of the game and took the fun out of the evening for the fans. We are trying so hard to expand our fan base...and whistle happy refs are certainly not helping!
