Where to buy Bowl tickets?

Post by ALEX LIFESON »

Come on SMU ticket office. We sold out our allotment last Friday...and STILL no update on the official website on how to buy tickets. Shouldn't SMU be doing everything possible, to get every available Mustang fan to Frisco?

Instead of complaining on a message board, which is so helpful in solving problems, why don't you send an email to the ticket office or Rick Hart and ask your question?

actually surprisingly low ticket prices

less than every Big 12 Ticket by far

less than an SMU Home game if you pay a Ticket License

Cheap

SMU sold its ticket allotment for the bowl, so why are we mad at them? They did their job.

Relative to the bowl payout, I would say the tickets are at a premium.

Only one's higher is the other home town bowl -- Liberty Bowl w/ Memphis.

Prices of team's first 20 tix on VividSeats
SMU -- $62-$66
UT -- $19-$20
TCU -- $25-$29
TTU -- $18-$21
WVU -- $22-$25 (Cotton Bowl -- HOD)
ISU/Memphis -- $97-$104

To justify cheapest tickets in the $60s, Frisco must have solid demand with two regional teams and a small stadium.

I'm obviously talking about the face ticket price. When you only have about 18,000 seats with two teams within easy driving then of course that will spike the price of the ticket

SMU previously sold out its 4500 ticket allotment....you now have to go through the bowl site or stubhub. They have construction going on so the seat availability for the bowl game is only around 16,500 ( instead of 20,500) and they are about 80 % sold now---they say by the game time it should be close to a sell out FWIW. SMU sections are 126-129...i just bought some extras in Section 130 from bowl site $60 near SMU section ...stubhub is at $95 each.
