but I'm sure the 'outa the park hire' our a.d. is going to make will bring at least 15 3* and 4* players with him to make up for these losses.
oh crap- my sarcasm font isn't working today.

Wouldn't Rafe need to sit another year with a transfer to another FBS school...even if it was back to his original school? As a grad transfer, can he get more than one year or eligibility (assuming he is on position to graduate from SMU)?

It would definitely have to be a grad transfer and I have no idea of his status in school. My post was kind of tongue in cheek although if he could graduate I think it would be a viable alternative.

He would be an excellent choice to give scholarship to replace Sievert as clipboard holder

And the young man we wanted to replace him, Wren, just committed to LA Tech. Seriously.

That was a punch that was not expected.

I wonder how happy these 'de-commits' are going to be next year when cm recruits over them and they are stuck being a back up at best.

You are right, except perhaps in the case of Woods, he is pretty good and UA is absent any decent receivers so he may be ok.

Flipping happens all the time. I believe June flipped Bo Levi from Hawaii and someone else too I think. No one complained at the time because SMU was on the receiving end of the flip.
