Does Aggy have a DC? Or could he come back to the Hilltop?
Ehhhhh....
It was Chavis, but I'd argue his defenses were the single biggest reason for getting Sumlin fired. They managed to blow a five TD lead in the fourth quarter, after all.
Rumor apparently is that the head-schmuck himself, Phil Bennett, is in the running for A&M's open position. I hope they are smart enough to avoid that dumpster fire:

I'm reading this forum and haven't seen one poster say they think "we got a great coach". Stop making stuff up.

I give it a B. It's certainly not a splashy "holy sh*t" hire. But I think all things considered it's a good move. SMU still has a ways to go before we're a strong enough program to attract a top name or a top emerging name. "
TCU Fan = Fake News
Haha...you proved you’re wrong. No where did he say Dykes was a great hire or great coach...actually hedged giving the hire a B. If you think B is a great grade...ehhhh...yeah...ok...
What's so great about an IPF? It's a myth recruits care about that. Just like it's a myth students choose SMU over other comparable school because they have a state of the art recreational center. Talk about a waste of money. It amazes me that SMU's MBA program has a good reputation with such decisions.

Logically I tend to agree. Just how much difference does something you use what, 3,5, 6 times a year really make? We really don't have a lot of bad weather here. Make a Hollywood set somewhere and walk em' through it.

No one on this board would've had Dykes as our first choice, but he's the coach now. Continuing to rant and whine does you and everyone else no favors.
