Manvel is tough-they hit on 2 long trap TD runs and a bomb to lead 21-7 at end of 1st Q. Manvel has 8 FBS commitments-3 to A&M, one to Missouri, one to Penn St.

Despite having one of the best Defenses in 5A, Angleton just can't handle Manvel. Another long run-4th Home Run. 28-7 Manvel. Mid-way through 2nd Q

Tamerick Williams does have 64 yards on 7 carries

Tamerik Williams had 93 yards on 13 carries. Texas commit B.J. Foster was really shut down. Manvel probably has about 15-20 kids that will eventually play FBS football. Some states don't have half that many. Good though that Williams made it through season uninjured. Williams had in the vicinity of 1850 yards in 14 games carrying the ball only about 10-12 times a game

David Priebe's Waco Midway beat Longview 28-26 to advance to the 6A State Championship. Priebe who is 6-7, 220 has about 15 catches for 150 yards on the season playing with OU commit QB Tanner Mordecai
