SMU EA admissons released

Apparently, SMU's early action decisions were released last night. Some very talented and enthusiastic students. The enthusiasm seems to be rising and Admissions is obviously doing things well. Here's a quote:

"Nice personalized notification. I have to say, of all the colleges we have looked at, SMU really makes DD feel like a person, not a number."

A current freshman's dad showed me his daughter's acceptance letter last year and it too had a specific, personalized note.

We are going to have to "earn" a whole new generation of fans. Both my kids went to Clemson and neither cared much about football before they attended. Now they look forward to attending games whenever they can and otherwise like to find Clemson sports bars for big games. We are going to need sustained success to have any chance of getting back to even the level of support we had in the SWC days, which wasn't anything to brag about even then.
