I expect the TE to be more involved in Sonny Dykes offense. Hopefully we've got some young guys ready to contribute but Priebe could have an opportunity for some early playing time
Tamerik finally posts his season highlights-watch this kid run-one thing I love about him is that when he cuts he doesn't dance-he slides or uses forward footwork that allows him to accelerate past the defender and then you got trouble with his speed. Always thought that was a quality of a great RB
- Livingston (Juco) - Brown - Williams - Keys - Dennis (juco) - Denbow (juco) - Ellison
Dykes said we'd sign around 6-8 so that looks about right. Was hoping Kemon Smith would go ahead and sign too. I wonder where this leaves Syptak who was also a highly rated OL.
There are still 2 more days for early signing and we have 3 coaches and a bowl game, so I am kind of impressed with what they got done today. Have a good showing tonight and then kick it in gear.

a 5th post-season offer for Christian Jones-this one from Syracuse as an Offensive Tackle (also Virginia, Cal, Vanderbilt and Colorado St). I think the guy has NFL potential as an Offensive Tackle but some schools like him as a DE where he played as a Junior - should be considered among our top commitments. 15 offers/5 P5 offers.
Boise St. has apparently offered Cam Phillips
"With a quarter of a tank of gas, we can get everything we need right here in DFW." -SMU Head Coach Chad Morris
When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.
Cameron Phillips officially blowing up-just got an Arizona St. offer- 3rd top offer in last 2 days. Its going to be tough to lose Phillips because he's easily the DB most ready to contribute
"Cypress Woods (Cypress, Texas) High School DE/OT Christian Jones committed to SMU back in June, but the 6-6/275 Jones opted not to sign in the early period and instead take an official visit to Cal over the weekend. "Oh man, it was amazing, to say the least," said Jones of his visit. "Like absolutely the best thing I've ever seen. The campus, the people, the location, the football facilities. Everything was just top-notch."
