Position changes
Anyone moving this offseason? It happens every year at virtually every school -- there's nothing wrong with it. I'm just curious what people have heard. The only one I've heard -- and I have no confirmation -- is that Tony Hawkins might be moved to safety. That would fit his jersey number (38) better, anyway.

Chris Phillips .. which has been mentioned more than enough on here..
I wonder if Fred Turner is going back to CB? We've got Mapps coming up and already have Henderson, Martin, Dorsey and Fitzgerald..

What we obtain too cheap.. we esteem too lightly. It is persistence alone that gives everything its value.

I just think we've got to come up with another cornerback from somewhere. Whether it's Makinde or Goode or Settle stepping in, or whether it's because Bryan McCann really is ready to play as a true freshman, or because we move a great athlete from another spot .... whatever the reasons, I'd like to see one more stud athlete at CB.

Any truth to the rumor that a WR is going to move over CB? If so, it's obviously not going to be Bobby Chase or Rey Pellerin, and I highly doubt Columbus Givens or Emmanuel Sanders will flip sides. Sledge? Warren? Lowery? Cleveland? For what it's worth, Lowery is the only non-senior in that bunch. Anyone I'm forgetting?

i think sledge is our most underrated wr, and this year he should make a big impact in his second year on the field... expecially if he gets to line up inside against linebackers, so i dont see any reason for moving him yet, he's stil young. as for the others I don't see PB moving any wr to the otherside, but he has been known to switch his RBs to the other side of the ball
