Live rpi 68????We’re receiving top 25 votes with some good wins. Why is our rpi 68? Do i need to worry about this?
Re: Live rpi 68????We will make up some ground in conference play and as some of the teams who beat us pick up some Key wins. The most important thing is we don’t have any true “bad” losses. We probably won’t reach top 15 rpi as in years past, but that is no longer being weighted as much.
Re: Live rpi 68????Look at the RPI forecast. RPI is often wonky until mid-January. Kenpom is much better.
Re: Live rpi 68????What is laughable is TCU at 10 today.
Re: Live rpi 68????No. 1 In strength of schedule? I thought for sure it was a top 10 team. It's a Texas school and one you would not guess. I looked at their schedule and it has been brutal!
Re: Live rpi 68????
A&M seemed to have a brutal schedule and they have done well. Insert "this is fine" GIF
Re: Live rpi 68????UCF had a higher RPI than us going into the game last night so that helps.
I know we've all said it, but we're going to need to prove we can win AT some of the tougher teams in the AAC. (Temple, UCF, Houston -- WSU and Cincy are going to be tough ones). Not worried about protecting Moody.
Re: Live rpi 68????I found it interesting that last nights announcers seemed pretty sure that the winner of the conference is probably going to have 4 losses.
Re: Live rpi 68????14-4 will be impressive because most teams in this league are going to be really tough at home. I would be surprised if this SMU team could do that well in conference play. I would be pleased if this bunch can go 12-6 which would put us at 22-9 heading into the AAC Tourney
Re: Live rpi 68????Up to 56.
Re: Live rpi 68????But then back up after the upcoming three game stretch of at Cincy, Temple, and at Wichita
Re: Live rpi 68????American now has 8 teams in the top 100 but only 3 in top 50. We currently have 3 top 50 wins against Zona, Boise State and USC vs one loss (TCU). WKU now at 69 and UNI at 80
