Haslametrics: For Those Who Love StatisticsI may be behind the curve, but I wasn't familiar with this guy. Anyway, he has some good things to say about our team.

Re: Haslametrics: For Those Who Love StatisticsWell he has us losing Arizona and TCU a 2 seed so I quit reading.

Re: Haslametrics: For Those Who Love StatisticsHe has us projected as a #8 seed and ranked 24th. We can hate on tcu's rank, but they beat us and are currently unbeaten. I think that ends today, btw.
Re: Haslametrics: For Those Who Love StatisticsI believe Wisconsin has hired him as an analytic consultant, which will probably be a trend in college athletics going forward.
His are the only ratings that start each season with every team being equal, so it’s fun to follow over the course of the season. The matchup tool is fun, too.
Re: Haslametrics: For Those Who Love StatisticsHe predicts a lot of scores eerily close, like Vegas does. There’s something to it, and he gets better at it every year.
Re: Haslametrics: For Those Who Love StatisticsSo do we have to change the score of our Arizona game?

And it did. Good game. Party at The Wopper!
Re: Haslametrics: For Those Who Love StatisticsAccording to it, Houston and SMU are 8 seeds which is fine but why is Cincy a 10 seed and WSU only 5?

There is a lot of information about the methodology if you click the About link.
Re: Haslametrics: For Those Who Love StatisticsMy guess is SOS so far. Cincy has not played a tough schedule. Houston does look like they could make the Tournament this year.
Re: Haslametrics: For Those Who Love StatisticsUp to No.17 based on his metrics.
