Recruiting post LBNot looking good so far except for Chagrois. And stop recruiting guys who can't make free throws.
Re: Recruiting post LBLarry Brown’s last class was worse by a mile so stop it.
Re: Recruiting post LBI made a point about who Jank has brought in since LB. Not too promising so far and not a lot of size either.
Re: Recruiting post LBI don't think it's fair to judge until after two years. With that said, I do think it's fair to be concerned at this point about this class. Definite hit on Chagrois, but need a hit on one other certainly and for the others to be serviceable rotation guys. I'm still optimistic Douglas makes a big leap this offseason and becomes that second guy.
Re: Recruiting post LBRidiculous to judge this year's class on this year's performance to date, but Chagois has certainly been a pleasant surprise. If Brown gets credit for Semi, then only fair to credit Jank for McMurray and Mike so let's see what this class looks like next year when they will be called on to contribute more. Way too early to say Douglas, Ray & Landrum will not be quality contributors before they are done and I think we all assume McMurray, Chagois and Mike will be key contributors next year. I hope you don't consider next year's incoming Frosh "busts" by if they don't immediately earn starting jobs.
Re: Recruiting post LBAll I know its hard to be elite when you are the 5th or 6th best basketball recruiter in your own State. It's great we are transfer U, but with the restrictions this strategy is showing holes.
We are behind UT, TCU, A&M, Tech, and Baylor on Average recruit. Obviously player development is important, but it would be nice for us to continue to get high caliber players and develop them even more instead of projects. More Shake, Jarrey, and Chargois type players that can be productive their first year.
Re: Recruiting post LBMisses: Wilson and Froling and MacDowell
Hits: Chargois, McMurray, and Mike (Whitt? did he decide to transfer AFTER LB left or no?). Akoy would have been if not for the infection IMHO. Adequate: Ray Landrum and Douglass are TBDs. I give Jank a solid B. I'd give LB an A-. I think he got one solid one in the books next year. Land Maxey and he's right with LB IMHO.
Re: Recruiting post LB
Whitt transferred while LB was coach. Akoy is a bust for now. Douglass is above Ray and Landrum but they are all TBDs. Lack of scholarships make their development more dire. We can't wait years for them to develop.
Re: Recruiting post LBIf you credit LB for the guys that just graduated, don't forget to give LB full credit for Keith Frazier too...and then add that into your overall grade.

Re: Recruiting post LBJustin Martin?
Actually maybe Crandall Head
Re: Recruiting post LBWho gets credit/ fail for Sedric B?
Also, you can’t grade LB without taking into account the pluses and minuses of what he brought and left us with. Like saying my ex was Ms. Texas but gave me herpes. Was it worth it?
