In an entertaining game for the home crowd, Ark Pine-Bluff erases a 15 point halftime deficit and comes back to beat Jackson State by 2 points. APB now leads the SWAC by 2 games over Jackson State and Grambling, the only team that has beaten APB in league play.

As someone mentioned earlier, Arizona and USC are now 1-2 atop the PAC-12 standings. New Orleans at 8-2 holds a slim 1/2 game lead in the Southland. Boise is a close 2nd and one game behind Nevada in the MWC. Western KY is 1/2 game behind Middle Tennessee in CUSA and UMBC is in 2nd place, 1-1/2 games behind Vermont in the America East conference. Several of our non-conference foes are having pretty good seasons.

I considered adding a comment. Anyone remember when Jackson State visited Dallas and we played them in the H.S. gym while Moody was under renovation? We try to block out traumatic events!

It was a very depressing game to be at when the final buzzer went off and certainly put a nail or two in the coffin of Doh’s coaching career at SMU.

UH looks good @UC. Impressive.

Boy do I wish we had gotten Fabian White to go with a Chargois. Not saying I’ve given up on Ray being a solid player, but White seems like he is on a different level.

UC was down 18 and cuts it to 3 by end of half.

Cincy hits a last second bank shot 3 pointer from about 23 feet at the Halftime buzzer to close to a 40-37 deficit at Halftime AT CINCY

Tulane having to go to overtime after having 2 free throws up by 2 with 2.8 seconds to go. Thing like this is what kill us and drag down the aac.

Wow ECU hits a miracle full court 85 yard inbound pass picked up by a guard about 5 feet from rim and shoveled in as he was falling a few feet off the ground. OVERTIME against Tulane

Cinci had that one all the way. They could be a final 4 team...maybe against Xavier which would be a lot of fun up here.

UH actually blew an 18 point first half lead and lost by 10 to Cincy. Quite a collapse-probably for the best since we have little chance at First. Shooting for 3rd place and a UH loss gives us a shot if we finish strong. SMU 1 game behind UH at 5-4--but there are 6 teams with 4 or 5 wins

Just beat Tulsa. Hate to take a page out of the Chad Morris book, but need to be 1-0 tomorrow.

So the 1st half of AAC play ends with SMU, Memphis and UCF all standing at 5-4. Really makes those upcoming games against Tulsa, Memphis and UCF critical if this team is going to finish in top 4 of this conference. Not sure we can afford to lose any of those games, given the 4 remaining games against WSU, Cincy & Houston.
