The fact that SMU is not listed suggests the Rangers had the same problem inviting SMU as we have with virtually every SMU home football games, i.e., apathy and poor attendance. It's our problem...not the Rangers'

Need to qualify that statement...worst fan base among FBS schools...maybe...(think UNT & Rice)...but comparable to some of the FCS schools

I don't think it really matters. I haven't been since the David Clyde debut. Is he still in the rotation?

I was there for David Clyde. I used to be able to go, sit anywhere I wanted, and have a beer vendor with a 5 gallon bucket filled with iced down beer standing next to me handing me a beer when requested. Clyde came, game was sold out and I lost the VIP treatment due to too many fans. It was never the same again. Shame on them.

But did you attend 10 cent beer nights? Had to pay a vendor to fight his way from concession stand to your seats. Still remember Mike Hargrove's opposite field single that ended an extra inning game (and his getting booed by what had become a pretty rowdy crowd) the last year they did those nights!
