OOC Opponents and other AAC gamesModerators: PonyPride, SmooPower Re: OOC Opponents and other AAC gamesboth teams shot well in 1st half but stunk the place up in 2nd half. If they shoot like that next week, AAC will have another early exit from post season play.
Re: OOC Opponents and other AAC gamesI enjoyed the Houston end of game [deleted] up more than I should've.
I'm skeptical of how these AAC teams are going to do in the tournament. ![]()
Re: OOC Opponents and other AAC gamesSo Temple gets the only NIT invite from the AAC and they are a 5 seed meaning they have to be road warriors to make any noise in that tourney. One seeds are Notre Dame, Baylor, USC and St Mary's. Boise State and Western Kentucky both earned invites
Re: OOC Opponents and other AAC gamesSurprised Tulsa did not get an NIT bid. Guess the Memphis loss knocked them out but they were 4th in the AAC.

Re: OOC Opponents and other AAC games
Pretty good field in the NIT and several schools that were probably "dance" worthy. Both Tulsa and Memphis may have been worthy of CBI invites but I don't think the AAC is interested in any tourney lower than the NIT. Doesn't appear that any of the multiple bid conferences participate in CBI or CIT
Re: OOC Opponents and other AAC gamesI just thought Tulsa would have been in above Temple

Re: OOC Opponents and other AAC games
Temple had the 4th lowest RPI in the AAC and more wins against quality opponents so I assume that was the logic. They beat Auburn, Clemson and Wichita State and also beat South Carolina, Wisconsin and Old Dominion. Probably as impressive a non-conference showing as anyone in the AAC.
