I would think Kane will coach the linebackers.

Who is the strength coach they were all raving about as being among the best in the country?

I think SD really got great coaches except for this loser. Probably the most "in the know" coach with the rapists at bu not to mention he made an arse out of himself at a TCU game. Why would we take a chance on a strength coach? He can't be worth the downside. Are we absolutely sure he's on the staff?

We are absolutely sure and he's been offered by more than one P5 program since he's been here.HubbaHubba wrote:PonyPride wrote:Kaz Kazadi

Well, we can't win a bidding war with Penn St. Just got let him go.

Re: Who's missing?
Super under-rated aspect is Dykes coaching special teams--if true.
Special teams sets the tone for the whole team. It's often where burgeoning talent often can be seen earliest. It sets the fundamentals of spacing and tackling principals that people use on the offense and defensive sides of the ball.

We have mostly been bad at special teams on and off for a long time. Sure hope he turns down the suck.
Nothing worse than missing PAT's and giving up 30-40 yard kick off returns on a consistent basis.
Will he recruit a decent FG kicker? That would help.

Re: Who's missing?
Dykes will definitely coach the special teams, he has already told the specialists. I am sure he will have some assistance from the other coaches, he said as much. Unless a grad transfer kicker falls into his lap, he will go with Robledo, the juco transfer from last year. Recruit a new one next year.
