Not really Brown is playing the same game in the nba as he was in college. Semi is going from being one of the bigger guys inside to playing on the wing. He is also asked to be a spot up shooter from deeper.

Not surprising at all to me. Sterling's skillset translated to an actual role and he had the benefit of a brother who'd been there, done that. Semi had to re-learn a new role and position. The impressive (and lucky) thing is that Semi is both a great student and a hard worker. If anyone could learn to make the adjustments it would be Semi. Now...how will the adjustments "Shake out" for this year's crop of potential pros?

Better statistically, but Semi is in the rotation (getting heavy minutes lately with all of the injuries) for a team with legit Finals hopes. I think he'll continue to get some minutes in the playoffs, when the rotation significantly tightens, as a defensive stopper. Sterling may have a harder time seeing the floor in the playoffs. Still a decent chance they will go up against each other actually.

I noticed that Sterling wasn’t with the Bucs last night due to “personal reasons.”
Anyone got intel?

Semi with another good game for Boston yesterday. In 27 minutes, he had 13 points and 6 boards. Hit 5-7 FGs including 3-3 threes

Not sure sterling will get any meaningful minutes in the series. Coaches cut down their rotation quite a bit in the playoffs. Usually the coach cuts down the rotation to 9, and i don't think Sterling is in the top 9 or 8 at this point.

Sterling got meaningful minutes last night, and played well. Sterling was solidly in the 8-9 man rotation the second half of the regular season. The issue now is Brogdon and Dellavedova have returned from injury and Prunty is still trying to find his playoff guard rotation. Sterling showed well last night and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him get spot minutes in these next few games, ever how many games they have left. As for your point about shortening the rotation in the playoffs, that definitely applies to Semi’s situation. I will be surprised if he gets any meaningful playoff run this season.

semi had all zeros in the box score against the 76ers last night. He had substantial play time in the first playoff series.
