Starting lineup

I'm going to give Coach Tubbs credit for realizing he made a mistake trying to play Pearson at the 4 spot and going with Ike Ofoegbu in the starting lineup alongside Bamba. Pearson had a terrific game and is just better suited at the 3 spot. Ike did a nice job on the boards playing the 4 spot. I like Rack coming off the bench and using Pearson at the 4 only if/when foul trouble dictates. Roberts did well coming off the bench as well. Let's hope Tubbs has found a rotation that works and prepares this bunch to finish as strong as possible.

I agree. Pearson is much more productive at small forward. Many of his points came from second chances, offensive rebounds with put-back shots. Having Ike at the 4 spot gives us a larger front court with better rebounding. Not starting Roberts on Saturday seemed to light a fire under him. When he came in off the bench he was more aggressive with the ball. Instead of looking to pass, he was taking it to the hole. The entire offense was better.

yep, this is why we are really missing Brian Morris. He allowed Pearson to slide to the 3 spot alot. The only problem with Pearson at the 3 has been his jump shot this year. He has been totally 'off' and without confidence all year in his shooting.
