Nice spicy sauce on it. Will take you by surprise if not ready for it. But it’s a delicious sandwich.

Taco Diner has a sneaky good burger.

As for a Cuban, Uncle Ubers in Deep Ellum.

I love gorging on tacos though.

Might have to try the burger sometime.

Does anyone know - is the Goff's Hamburger that is opening in the strip center on Mockingbird (with the SMU bookstore) the same Goff's that burned down on Hillcrest or is it the "other" Goff's that is actually owned by original owner Harvey Goff?

Regardless, I plan to check it out soon and report back.

Check it out. Hopefully, it's not the same outfit. The torched Hillcrest location was a neat place but the food was dreadful.

Goff's is BACK! Had their "soft" reopening yesterday - and the lines were out the door all day long. Happy day!

Is the food any good or are they just trading on the Goff's name? Previous goffs was not good.

If you liked the Goffs on Hillcrest - you will like this one (and vice versa). Exact same food.

I only went to the old one once. I'll try it again in the fall.

I have been following this thread from the beginning and have enjoyed trying most all of the burgers suggested in Dallas - one of the best I have had (in my top 5) is the Italian burger at Prego’s on Greenville (near University) -

I often wondered how that Pregos place stayed in business all of these years. It was always stuck there between sketchy law firms, strip clubs, Billiard Halls, etc.

I took the family to Chicken Scratch on Saturday for dinner. I had the Chicken Fried Cheeseburger. Do not, under any circumstances, order it.

Ever heard of Pints & Quarts?
Neither had I.
Drinks are OK.
Burger is ... not. Don't go.
