This all could have been avoided and I can't stand cops but he did ask him not to put his hands in his pocket didn't matter if it was cold or not they don't know who he is what he's doing.

Well, that was hard to watch. The second the cop rolled up on him and gave him a nudge to back up, all bets are off. Just give the guy a ticket for parking across a few spots (which is stupid really - no one else is there and I'm sure they have better things to do) and be on your way. 2 squad cars coming in blazing with their lights/sirens, etc? Are you kidding me?
It was gut wrenching seeing them put my man on the ground like that and tase him. Such BS. And of course the PC crowd will say, 'listen to cops, do what they say, etc etc' but we can't say 'it's a free country' with this kind of BS. Sterling was simply coming out of the store and going to his car door and the cop got all high and mighty. It was late, I'm sure he was tired, etc. This just all sickens me. The cops get whatever disciplinary action they deserve (which probably isn't enough). A bunch of power hungry morons.

You are the type of SMU alum that prospective black students are warned about and it is the reason SMU has the stigma it does in the black community in DFW.
Throughout this thread you have been doing mental backflips proving how the situation could have been avoided by Sterling instead of thinking how this could have been de-escalated by the policemen with supposed training. The first policeman should have given Sterling a ticket with a fine. Sterling even though it was 2 am, cold, raining, and the lot was empty shouldnΓÇÖt have parked in handicap spot.

ItΓÇÖs hard to even finish watching this video. There are so many things wrong. First, who gives a crap if he is parked in handicap spaces at 2am? If it was crowded and 2pm, sure that behavior is rude. But 2am? Tell me one other SMU kid that wouldnΓÇÖt have done the same thing. Second, who gives a crap that he is at Walgreens at 2am? That really isnΓÇÖt late for a 22 year old that most nights doesnΓÇÖt get off work til 10:30pm. Third, why was that first cop being such a turd? Then why did the entire police force show up?
