Re: Lathon to visitWe need a true PG bad. Hope we get him and he gets in and builds chemistry right away.

Re: Lathon to visit
I know not many respect the rules on social media, but isn't it an NCAA violation to interact with recruits on social media?
Re: Lathon to visit
only applies to SMU
Re: Lathon to visit
No reason to interact, just follow him. Recruits notice who new followers are and what school they represent. Shows interest level in the program. SMU-12 NCAA appearances, 1 Final Four

Re: Lathon to visitDon't be holier than thou. Show the kid love. What recruits notice is no SMU fans vs armies at other schools.
Re: Lathon to visit
We are just a bit gun shy since the NCAA has a target painted on our back side. ![]() SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
Re: Lathon to visit
Seems to me that target is on the front side, below the stomach and above the knees.
Re: Lathon to visit
I’ve always wondered what the cost to SMU was of losing out on Larry Johnson. One could argue it was potentially $100M+ at a minimum we could have had a multi-decade successful BB program.
Re: Lathon to visitLouisville parlayed that, among other things, into inclusion into the AAC. How mich is that worth?
