Word is a couple of more coming tonight. Sonny Dykes continues to kill it in recruiting, SMU now has the number 1 recruiting class in the AAC.

Nice. Where is that billboard photo from in his twitter image? That's slick.

I'm assuming Sonny still has ties in Louisiana from his days at La Tech so that's a good thing. I'm also assuming most kids in LA aspire to play for LSU but if that offer doesn't come, it would be nice if Sonny could establish SMU as the next best option rather than staying in state to play for another G5 program. Plenty of talent in LA.

Re: Another big commitment for Sonny Dykes!
Sonny's likeability and enthusiasm has been very apparent since day 1. I just knew this guy was going to be able to recruit and he has not disappointed. What I love most about Sonny is that he genuinely loves SMU and wants to be here for a long time. That is so appreciated and I respect him so much for that. I felt so bad for him in that Frisco Bowl, what a tough situation, but I'll bet he and the players took something positive from that experience that will manifest itself on the football field this season and for seasons to come. Heck, we might even be a football school again soon. Something is building here and it's very exciting.

I would think Kevin Curtis and David Gru have ties down there, too
